Kain Benjamin Dugan is finally here. He is so precious and just a joy. He was born on June 11, 2011 he weighed 7 pounds 7 ounces and was 20.5 inches long. He is now 10 days old and is grows more and more every day.

Final Week

This is hopefully our final week. Baby is doing well still growing and moving around. Baby is just waiting until it is time to come. I am feeling more uncomfortable as the days go by. Sleep is harder to come by, just getting me ready for when baby enters the world I am sure. No weight gain to speak of just staying steady. He or she is ready to come and I am getting VERY anxious to meet this new little one.

Baby is Full Term

Baby is now full term and can come anytime. We have everything ready to go fo baby. Eric built the crib this weekend and all our bags are packed. This weekend we also went and got our maternity pictures taken. I will post them when we get them from the photographer. We will have to see what the doctor says tomorrow about when baby might come.

Well the last week has been crazy the house was turned upside down and we got about 800 sq. ft. of new flooring. Glad it is over and it was all worth it. Baby and I are doing well.

Finished the painting the nursery

This weekend I finihsed painting the nursery. We still need to get the room set up and put finishing touches on it. I will post pictures when it is all done. This is the accent wall and all the other walls are a nice chocolate brown.

Week 31

about 8 weeks and counting...

So we have about 8 weeks left. Baby is doing great it is moving and rolling around all day long. I am curious see how active our baby will be when it comes out.

I started the baby's nursery this weekend. I wanted to start with the hardest wall. I started on the geometirc squares first. Here are some pictures.

Also this weekend i went onlune to look at our crib once more.. and it just so happened to be on a BIG sale. So we decided not to wait, and we bought it. It was a good thing because it was only on sale for 2 days. It is a convertible crib so it converts to a toddler bed, a day bed, then a full size bed.

Seattle Baby Shower

This past weekend we had a baby shower in Seattle for all of our family and my Seattle friends. Eric's family was able to join us from Boise. My mom put on the shower and she did such a great job. My Aunt Suzanne made all of the beautiful cupcakes and cookies. The whole shower was such a wonderful time! Thank you all who came. Baby Dugan is spolied already.8)

First weeks of the 3rd Trimester

Baby is getting bigger and bigger, which means I am getting bigger. Baby is well heart beat strong. The doc isn't telling us anymore the heart beat so we can keep the babies gender a secret. Other than that things are well. Feeling good. The baby is slowly making me more uncomfortable.

The baby is very active. This week the baby's movements have been more visable. When it moves you can see my tummy move. Next weekend is our baby shower in Seattle and I am very excited to everyone! So see you in Seattle next Saturday!

Last 2 weeks ... of the 2nd trimester

Well here are some pictures from the last 2 weeks of my 2nd trimester. On Tuesday, we start the last trimester. The baby will be here soon! Everything is going great, baby is getting bigger every week. I feel wonderful. According to the books, baby is about 2 1/2 lbs. and maybe 15 inches long. The baby is getting comfortable in my belly and is starting to kick me in the ribs on the other side of my belly.

Last weekend, we went to Boise to visit. We had a wonderful time. While we were there I took some time to go shooping. Very shocking! I needed to get a outfit for the baby for its 1st pictures. So, I bought one outfit for a girl and one for a boy.

This is his 1st golfing outfit. This was too cute to pass up!

Hi Everyone!

So we just had another check up. Baby is doing well. Heart beat is high 140s. We are feeling baby move a lot now. Eric gets to feel him/her at night. Heart burn is finally disappearing. 8) Here are some pictures from the last 4 weeks.

Getting ready for Baby

Baby is doing good and just getting bigger everyday. I am too! I will post more belly pictures next week!





So, I finally found a dress for Kim's (Eric's sister) wedding. I have been looking since December to find something for the baby if we have a girl. Her wedding color is Kelly green so this dress is perfect!!






This is what we have for our baby if it is a boy. It is a onsie and we will match it with some shorts.
I just want to be prepared because I may only have 2 weeks in between baby and the wedding.

Our next project for the baby is to get the nursery ready. Here is the one I like best right now. This could change, but it must incorporate brown. That way when the baby comes and it is a girl we could accent with Pink n and if it is a boy we could do blue or green.

I don't want a nursery wtih any "cheesy" themes. So we are going to stick with the main color being a brown and then go from there when the baby comes.

The one color I will alter from this nursery is the green to a yellow.

Baby Pool

Hi Friends and Family,
Eric and I made a Baby Pool tonight. We would love for you all to participate. As it is setup you can play and not bet. If you want to bet, it is a $5 buy in. Then 50% will go to the new parents (Eric and I) and 50% will go to the winner. If you would like to bet please let Eric or I know and we will take your buy in & write you down as betting. The winner will be determined by the pool.

Baby Dugan 21 Weeks

Baby's heart beat 146bpm. According to the old wives tale, if the baby's heart rate is closer to 150 it is most likely a girl. If it is closer to 140 it is a boy. This baby is keeping the suspense of it's sex.
Baby had all 10 fingers and 10 toes. Everything was healthy and baby was an estimated 13 oz.
We were so relieved to see our little one healthy and we are so exicted to meet him or her. We were told by the ultrasound tech that we have a "very" active baby. It loves to do flips and kick its feet around.


Best picture of baby! Baby was in a breech position. This is a picture of the profile with it's leg extending above it's head. The knee cap is the bump right aove its nose, then its shin bones with its foot past its head.

This is a face picture. With baby looking right at you. The 2 black circle are the eyes. The right hand side of the picture is its shoulders and chest.

This is another profile picture. As you move right you see a cute little belly with the thigh of the leg extending up and the swoosh by the head is the foot.
